Does Golf Drive You Mental?

Updated: Jul 15

Then Get The Mental Game!

Hope you liked my latest Mental Golf Game You Tube Chanel Release where I'm Promoting a Mental Skills Assessment For Golf from my friends at GolfPsych.com

And hey I get it, why support me when you can go directly to GolfPsych.com and cut me out?

Who needs me? I know, I get it. So please go directly to GolfPsych.com and look for their "Mental Skills Assessment and Report", by itself it's $49.95 plus applicable taxes - prices subject to change.

Hey... have a look around. There are numerous solutions to help improve your golf game.

Whether a beginner, intermediate, advanced, College level, Tier 2 Tour Level, or PGA tour status golfer, there is something there for the MENTAL golfer in your circle of friends, associates, and enemies. After all, the best way to disarm a mental golfer is to first separate them from their golf club, aka weapon of mass destruction.

I know of a golfer that single handedly took out an entire flower garden, front and back windows of a house on the First Hole, and sunk the golf cart in the river. Uh Huh.... alcohol was involved (see below)

On the Mental Skills Assessment and Report, once purchased, you will be directed and prompted to Fill out the ON-LINE questionnaire. Please answer all of the questions so you get an accurate report. Once you submit your answers, you will be emailed the results of how you perform in these following areas:

Focus and Mental Pre-Shot Routine - The Champion Skill: Focus

Calculations & Commitment - The Champion Skill: Abstract Thinking

Emotion Management - The Champion Skill: Emotion Management

Course Management - Game Plan - The Champion Skill: Dominance

Tough Minded - The Champion Skill - Tough Mindedness

Confidence - The Champion Skill - Performance Confidence

Independent Decision Making - The Champion Skill - Self Sufficiency

Tension Management - The Champion Skill - Optimum Arousal

You'll receive grades in each area of study (or Behavioural Traits), and learn where the weaknesses and strengths are in your mental game when compared to those who are professional Golfers playing on Tour. These players exude similar traits and behaviours for winning on Tour. They also reveal areas you need to be more aware of as those traits are currently negatively affecting your game....

Have a look at the below video... I signed up for a weekend Mental Game program, I drove to Tapatio Springs Golf Resort just outside of Borerne, Texas from Toronto, Canada, and back. I met with Jon Stabler, GolfPsych.com and here are some of the results of my Sunday Game Performance, at The GolfPsych Open. I'm outfitted with one of their "Mind-Meter's".

Look at the "Results" while I'm in my Pre-Shot Routine to ensure I make my best contact with the ball each stroke.

The person reading my meter is asked to tell me to STOP if I'm out of my ZONE. "Keep It Below 90". The lower the better. Control Your Thoughts. T&T. ASP. Feel It. See It, Decide. Commit. Think Nothing. Execute.

"A Calm Mind Is The First Requisite For Good Judgement."

STOP! Re Set.

Don't let YOU, and your thinking be your biggest problem.

I highly recommend getting "Assessed". Then decide if you want more, or, that's enough for now. In any event, good luck with your choices and your game!

Dave Eh!

over and out...
